Home Services at The Home Depot

This is the first review I've ever written but I feel it's important. Do not go to this Home Depot for any project work. I've gotten my flooring and windows though here and it was horrible. Actually I haven't even gotten my windows yet. We have been waiting for over 3 months and each window cost over $1,000. Every time we call they ignore us, pass us off to someone else, or give us false information/ lies. The same thing happened with my flooring. I don't know why I thought the window department would be any different. Find local. I wish I had.

We had a rough go around with this store. Purchased countertops from a vendor called Precison Countertops. Worst experience ever, as it took 7 weeks from the time of purchase to the installation date. It was a constant back and forth with Home Depot and Precision, until we involved corporate. After finally getting the countertops installed, we asked for compensation for the headache of all the horrible customer service, lack of communication and failed promises on installation. A measley 50.00 dollars was offered with Home Depot matching it. How INSULTING!!! Home Depot you should be ashamed of yourself and hire better vendors to service your customers. You ask for the money upfront but fail to hold your vendors accountable on their end. Do not purchase countertops from Home Depot.
