The American Plumber

Do not hire this company, my home warranty provider assigned them to install a simple dishwasher. Late for the 1st appointment which all they did was remove the old unit, talked a good game but never delivered. They billed my home warranty provider for services they never did and also lied about work that was never done! After weeks of no call backs or getting the run around I asked my home warranty provider to assign someone competent to do the job right. Thank God they did even after these clowns billed and received payment for work not done! I'd give them a minus 20 if I could. Waiting for them to come back and say I'm not a customer lol.

Stay away from this company at all costs! Took a week and a half to finally show up. No call no show on 1st appointment. Don't return messages and never completed the job! If I could give them a -5 I would, lousy company!

DO NOT LET these people in your house. Their purpose is to spend a few minutes looking at the problem then give assurance the problem is resolved while the real story is they write up a fraudulent report accusing the homeowner of misuse, neglect or whatever then send to the company recommending claim be denied. Nothing is said to the homeowner and American continues to give assurances they are negotiating the needed repairs with the manufacturer stalling for time as the work order for repair is good for only 30 days. At the end of the day your item is not repaired and American has submitted a false claim to the company so the claim is denied and product not repaired. Read the other reviews and you see a common story.

Stay Away. No call no show on first promised date. 4 hours late on second promised date without proper supplies to complete the job. Owner was arrogant and threatning in his reply emails. Bill amounts for line items didn't match quote pricing. I am forwarding all correspondence to Contact 6 for review.

So after a very difficult time of dealing with major home plumbing issues I wanted to leave this review to make sure everyone is aware of what you get when you have this company do work for you. I called this company after submitting a claim with my home warranty company (HMS National).Horrible service appointment was 4-8pm . After calling someone 3 different times about status of repair I discovered no one was coming . So I contacted the warranty company and was told by rep that worker said he called me and told me he was not going to make it !!!Really !!!!You lie and then expect to get business. Not make a long story short I will never every have this company do any work in my home also O will make sure I contact HMS Corporate office and make sure they know what type of company they have retained to do work for them .And request that stop doing business with them or lose my business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
