Called to get a plumber over to our house to look at a leaking water heater that caused damage to the house and to get an estimate on an electric to gas water heater conversion. When I first called, the man was very rude on the phone. As the conversation went on, he said he really needed to get his taxes done (it was the beginning of March, not April 14th mind you) and didn't know when he could get out to our place. After finally settling on a time, he failed to show up or call to set a different time. When we're willing to hire someone and pay them hundreds of dollars, the least they could do is give us a courtesy call so we don't waste our day waiting for someone to show up.
