They are the only plumber company that I have called for assistance that responds quickly with appointments that are within days, which is so appreciated. And, they arrive on time. Very professional and listened to my concerns and explained in a manner that was easy for me to understand. Took care of the main problem (clogged drain) and explained other issues I had and ways to eliminate the problems. Offered solutions that they are going to provide to me so I can decide on the best plan to go forward.
Huge charges for simple work. 1.Replacing two hose bibs and a pressure relief valve: +$500.00. 2. Water sample and flow test, +$500.00. 10 minutes of actual work, flow test, hooking a hose two one of the aforementioned hose bibs and letting the water run while sitting in the truck. Charge included the $150.00 to fill out the slips and drop off at the court house, 8 miles away. 3. Having to do the water samples over because the lab was closed and rejected the sample. 4. Waiting and waiting for an email with the flow test results, finally calling and asking for it after 0 responses to the chat box on their website. The staff is friendly enough but the charges relative to the amount of work actually performed is ridiculous. How hard is it to unscrew a piece of pipe and screw a new one on?... About $175.00?
Unfortunately I hired this company to make a septic servicing house call. we could not locate the tank. for this they charged me 184.00. Their technicians advised me to go get county records to help locate the tank, and that my charges would be applied towards a return servicing. I did so and when i called the company back, I talked to their receptionist who maintained that she had no idea if this fee application was actually the company policy. I asked to to have her manager call me back with a simple clarification. This receptionist promised I'd a receive a call back in an hour. i waited two hours and called back and got the same promise, and again, no return call. I waited two hours and called back a third time. I recieved the same promise again , yet received no return call. and i still haven't. This company has lost a customer, who was simply asking for clarification in order to follow up on septic service. not sure who to blame, technicians who promised, perhaps falsely, that my 180 dollars would be applied to an actual completed task? the receptionist who claimed to have been an employee for several months, who could not state a simple and important company policy? or whomever calls themselves in charge of this operation. or myself for being misled and basically robbed so easily
Josh was our technician. He was great, handled our water line leak quickly and had our water back on in no time!! Other plumbing companies had no openings for days, but John's plumbing was out immediately!!! Definitely calling John's plumbing for our future plumbing needs.
Spencer was a pleasure to work with. Kept me informed on the project & clean up after completion. Highly recommend John's Plumbing.
