Called them to get a quote on pipe repair at the Facility I operate, liked the quote (comaprible to the other quote I received) contracted them for the job. When the job became more extensive than originally thought, they kept me fully informed of the process and kept the price as minimal as possible, they did outstanding work, extremely professional employees and owner is exceptional. I called Glenrose Plunbing in April 2018 and needed a quote for a hot water tank replacement. I explained the situation completely, advising them that the heater was in a crawl space underneath my condo building. The person I spoke with said they would get back to me that day and I never heard back from him. It’s sad when someone is looking for help and needs to rely on a “professional” and they pick and choose jobs and don’t give basic respect and kindness. During this time I called multiple plumbers. Few came out and quoted me outrageous amounts to replace the water heater, as high as $2400. After a month of calling different plumbers I found Roe Plumbing who came out and assessed the problem as an element issue. He crawled under the building, fixed the issue and charged a very reasonable rate. It’s disappointing when “professionals” only take money into consideration when building a reputation is key to doing good business. Glenrose left me hanging. I waited a week for them to call me before moving on, all while having no hot water. ????

I left a previous review but it must have been on Yelp and I overlooked putting it on Google. The other review I gave Glenrose 5 stars, excellent service, excellent price. Thought I had found a new plumbing company to use for future work as well. And I cannot take away from that experience. HOWEVER, several weeks later I call and they come out but a different plumber than the first work done. He quotes me $707 for what should be just a Moen shower faucet cartridge and labor to install. He said entire shower assembly needed to be replaced along with the trim kit in the shower. And his quote included $56 for going into crawl space to turn water off and on again! I called the mgmt/owner and was told she would look at the quote and get back to me the next day via email. She did and basically said "it is what it is", and that this project "...may not be a good fit". After telling them they lost this business and any future business, I called another company and had the work performed for $165. You do the math and decide who you want to do business with.
