DM Select Services - Winchester

Sometimes luck clicks...i randomly googled when our bzns HVAC all of a sudden stopped cooling when outside was touching 90+ temp. Andrew, gentleman appeared very quickly even a little before his scheduled time in 2 hours. Initially i was expecting that they are gonna rip me off like any thing cause i had a v bitter experience of "One hour heating&AC" But Andrew was not only super fast in identifying the problem but very reasonable price and he even offered me 1 year maintenance without any additional cost.Simply best and should get 100/10 .Strongly recommended.

We had a go around with a warranty company and another HVAC company that we wont get into since I have left a Yelp review for them already. Needless to say the previous company tried to say our heat issue was one thing when in fact it was proven the previous company never even opened our air handler, even though they claimed our air flow issue was caused by a extremely dirty coil. DM came out and the technician's name was Andrew. Not only did he have our heat back up the same day when we had already waited 11 days for the previous company, but found that the issue was not a dirty coil as he actually opened the air handler and took pictures, but that the problem was a blown capacitor on the blower motor. Our air handler is like 20 years old and even made recommendations to eventually have a new air handler installed for a reasonable price VS putting new parts in a 20 year old air handler. This heat pump didn't even have the electric pack for the auxiliary heat when it gets really cold and why they installed a bunch of built in baseboard heaters into this house. With a new air handler you get the blower motor, heat pack, and the new air handler installed which is our plan. We are letting it go as long as we can for now while we get the funds together to do so, but I just had to leave this long review and how excellent service Andrew and DM provided us. Would recommend to anyone in the Winchester, VA area.

Very satisfied with DM select heating and air !! Called them to let them know my furnace wasn’t working, that same day Andrew the repairman came by and pinpointed a problem done by another company. ( that I guess threw in the towel ). It was running very well in no time. Offered some suggestions for optimum performance. I live in the Winchester, Va area and highly recommend DM select for HVAC help. Timely and professional.
