They tried their best to help me but the 3 handled shower fixture in my old house was just so old they couldn't. They didn't have, which is very rare and a unique situation, the correct cartridge to replace the cold water side handle. Several years ago when I needed a hot side cartridge I searched everywhere and finally only found it at Falls Church Plumbing Supply but they've been torn down. So I will have to replace the fixture. Be prepared, some Plumbing lssues are Not Cheap! I found a way to protect the plumbing appliances in my house with a "Scale Blaster". I saw one for sale at Home Depot while browsing through their Plumbing section. I was clueless about it until I picked the Box off the shelf and read it. "It is amazing!" like Jesse Lee Peterson says. It was a hundred and fifty bucks on sale and you can install it yourself easily with some patience and determination. It made a HUGE difference. The water in my kitchen sink whistles while going down the drain now, like never before, and my plumbing is from 1975 when my house was built. Otherwise, it is always helpful to bring in the old part you will need replaced and stick with it. Matching up new with old can often be tricky. In my experience it's always been best to stick with what you've got and accept it otherwise you could be in for a few headaches and it's not worth it. Plumbing can often be very frustrating. Once again, they saved the day. I had a difficult situation for a high speed evacuation pump and the helpful staff got me the conversion parts I needed. Home Depot just cannot cut it compared to Booze.
