Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

First the good: Guy on the phone who took my call was great. Plumber came the same day to fix a clogged drain. Plumber seemed professional enough. We had no problem until I was quoted a price. The bad: First, he tells me it’s going to be $689 to snake a drain. I deal with plumbers a lot in different locations, this was probably 3 times the price I expected to pay. I tell the plumber this, he calls his boss who says they can offer me a $100 discount. Still not really enough. I talk to his boss, and he says they can snake my drain for $429. Still seems high but I’m tired of fighting, and I want to fix this problem quickly for my tenants. The whole thing seemed predatory, they charge a super high price when you’re deeply in need of a situation to be corrected. $429 seems crazy high even still for about 90 minutes worth of work and no parts needing purchased. Make sure you question the price they give you. Better yet...call someone else.

Excellent customer service. If you have a plumbing problem and you absolutely need it fixed immediately, there is no better place to call. Not only are they available to help at a moment's notice. Terrible service. Guy came out to my house my ceiling is leaking in a straight line across directly below my bathroom. Says he does not see where it is coming from (when you clearly can) told me it was going to be over $300 a hour just to cut the drywall and find the leak. Then he started arguing after we asked how long it would take since he wants to charge over $300 a hour. He said he doesn’t know and being rude saying “are you going to get the work done or not cause you are wasting my time”. Chris showed up less than two hours after we called for the service. The whole experience was pleasant from the initial discussion with the dispatcher, the service call and the professional advice after the job was complete. After we made the initial call, we received a confirmation phone call to let us know when The technician would be there and the technician’s name. Chris showed up and was totally professional. He knew his business and was very patient and attentive to all my questions. He took the time to explain things so that I understood the situation and he made sure I was comfortable before he began the service. He was able to fix the issue in about 90 minutes and left the area just the way he found it. I would recommend the service to anyone and will absolutely use them again.
