I’ve been a Perry Aire customer for 3 years and have been happy with all the technicians that have been sent out, but Brad is top notch! He was super personable, knowledgeable, honest and offered great advice! He also kept me in the loop on his ETA with calls and texts, which was super helpful and allowed me to run errands close by while waiting for him to arrive. I will absolutely by name request Brad for any servicing or work that needs to be done in the future! Thanks so much Brad!!

We recently had Perry Air perform routine maintenance on our HVAC system; they found nothing wrong and charged $338.50 for it after misleading us with a lower price. They charge a $150 “dispatch” fee which we were lead to believe was simply a minimum that would be added to if labor exceeded that charge. Nope, they just charge you that fee on top of hourly rates, even if they hardly do anything. We called today and tried to explain our dismay but to no end. Go elsewhere, it’ll be cheaper and hopefully less misleading. The tech was super friendly though, so if you don’t care about cost, go for it I guess. UPDATE: Changed my 2 star rating to 3, because after leaving this review, they saw it and refunded a portion of the dispatch fee. They do seem to care about customer service/reviews.

I hired them to fix my disconnected ducts with gaps between the ducts and registers. They up-sold me a dynamic air filter for $1000. They made a work order for me which did not include fixing ducts and registered. I asked them to add it to the work order and they said no need they will take care of it. They came to my house 5 times. One of those times their worker insisted that I pay and that the work was complete. I was not home to check. I paid. When I got home the work wasn't done. In fact he had un-done the work the previous worker did. Now I paid more than $3000 and I still have ducts that are disconnected and registers that can't be screwed into the wall, because there are no screw holes for them. They refuse to complete the work because they say the work on the work order is complete. First of all, it's not complete, because the dynamic air filter is not working. Second of all, what about the job I hired them for? That's not done. This is a photo of the vent from today. Notice it's taped on.

I only wish I had called Perry Aire first. We have an older mini-split in a town home that stopped working and was giving a strange error signal. 2 of the big DC companies were unable to diagnose the problem and tried to convince me that it was a leak and I would have to replace the entire system for around $25,000. I called Perry Air in hopes that they could somehow fix the existing system. After an initial visit, Steve sent his best mini-split guy, Nelson, to work on the system. He came and was patient and listened to me describe the issue (it was a flashing red light on the indoor units that would appear after a few minutes). Nelson ran some diagnostics on the outdoor unit and was able to determine the error code and order the required part. He returned a few days later to install the new part (it was the thermistor) and the unit is working like new for only a few hundred dollars that I was more than willing to spend after thinking I may have to replace the entire unit. I was so pleased I purchased their twice a year service plan to make sure the unit stays running. If you have mini-split issues, call Perry Aire and ask for Nelson!

Brad has done an excellent job on our refrigerator and freezer units. His PM work has kept them in good working order and he recently noticed and reported further repairs that were needed. Those repairs were completed today. We are very satisfied with Perry Aire in general, and with Brad's work specifically on our units. I would recommend both the company and Brad to others.
