Guy that came by was really nice, but the estimate for the job was outrageous ($750 for a shower knob fix). My father in law ended up doing the job. Took him about an hour and $15 for parts. I’m sure Neerings’ services aren’t worth $700+ an hour.
Buyer beware!!! These guys are crooks. My mom needed her shower control replaced. The shower had been completely torn out (see picture of the state it was in) and she had purchased all of the required parts for the job but needed to get someone to do the job and made the mistake of calling Neerings instead of mentioning it to her son. They proceeded to charge her $500 FOR LESS THAN AN HOUR OF WORK! Fortunately they did not have them fix her drain for the shower (they quoted her for that and she refused the $750 price tag for that). Don't use these guys unless you are find of being ripped off or have too much money in your bank account.
worst experience. i called about repairing or replacing an old toilet and water softener. when the two master plumbers finally arrived they were actually pretty helpful, diagnosed the problem and went looking for parts, that's when the frustrations begin. never called back, never sent an estimate, its as if they just didn't want to help finish the job. they had their $95 service fee and realized the job was too hard and when i finally got a quote, two weeks later over the phone after calling a few times, it was outrageously expensive. no explanation of the problem, no communication. these plumbers and company are no help whatsoever. they weren't interested in solving the problem at all. poor and slow communication not personal service expensive 3 strikes and you're out.

My heat exchanger to my air conditioning unit failed. The bolts holding the electric motor and fan vibrated loose and fan assembly vibrated into the freon condenser causing catastrophic failure of the fan blades. We called Neering Plumbing and Heating for an estimate. They arrived with a repair estimate of one thousand dollars. Due to the seemingly excessive cost we decided to get a second estimate. The second estimate came in at $110. The technician arrived and completed the required repairs at a cost of $110 and our home is as cool as ever. Be careful with these guys because the defects with your cooling system seem to be invented.
