Fantastic service from the phone call setting the appointment to the end of the techs job. Waylon was very efficient and professional and he found our leak rather quickly. The cost was less than half the quoted price so that was a bonus! I highly recommend these guys~they're awesome!!
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE with American Leak Detectors. My brother from Tennessee (we're in Utah!) recommended the company when we were having a terrible time finding a leak in our private water line. The city told us there was a leak and insisted that we repair it, but would not tell us where the leak was or how we might locate it. One plumber assured us there was no leak where the city insisted is was because the grass was not green there. A clerk for the city suggested that I "shop till I dripped to find a plumber who could locate the leak. Two more plumbers walked away from the confusion.. My brother to the first rescue. As per his suggestion, ALDofU came promptly and spend the whole morning locating the leak, estimated its size and giving us a clear recommendation to replace the entire 100 year old, extremely fragile and dangerous system (lead, etc leeching into our culinary water). The agent traced out and clearly marked every inch of the meandering water pipes for the plumbers. Every plumber we had called before the ALDofU work had refused to even give us an estimate. With ALDofU's clear mapping, a wonderful plumber immediately gave us a reasonable estimate and we will soon have a whole new system. All 4 households are most grateful to ALDofU for helping us through a baffling, nerve-wracking and important problem! (I apologize for not recalling the agent's name. He was superb!)
