Called Bob Jays to repair a noisy blower motor in a rent house. I asked that technician call me about repairs. I did hear from him after repairs had been made, he suggested that after replacing blower motor a circuit board had been 'blown out' by a 'power surge'. He did say he thought it would be under warranty. Then I got the bill...no mention of a circuit board, no mention of warranty, no mention of anything except further repair to the unit because it wasn't 'cooling' because of a solenoid failure in a "30 year old unit". Talked to Jay about being overcharged and the more he talked the madder I got. This company or it's representative did not contact me about making repairs to get the air conditioning to function. It's bad business to charge for unauthorized repairs and then make excuses for why you were billed. UPDATE: And now that first cool weather has arrived, and I paid the bill in full (not because I wanted to) the heating unit is inoperative. Further demonstration of utter incompetence. I could have purchased a BRAND NEW AIR HANDLER HEATING UNIT for less than 70% of the repair bill.

Spoke with Jay and we immediately set an appointment for the next day that would work with my schedule. Being that I lived 30 miles away he called me about 10 mins out before he arrived. He quickly got to work and had my unit back up and running within 30 mins. Once it came to the bill it was well within my budget and he also worked with my mileage. I highly recommend these Jay and his staff.

I had a less than stellar experience on the phone some years back, bad enough that I chose to leave a less than stellar review - 1 star. Fortunately, since then, things have changed. Later, I called called them in to help with a $90k home remodel. Their products and services were first rate. They did what they said they'd do when they said they would do it. Jey's professionalism is a big reason I changed my opinion. He grew up here. He knows and loves our community and, as the new owner, is absolutely committed to great service.
