We got referred to Ski's Plumbing through our home warranty company when our garbage disposal started leaking water under the sink. Chris was very communicative and answered my phone calls and messages promptly. He was really understanding in trying to schedule an appointment around our schedule. He was prompt and on time, and courteous, and came prepared with the parts that he needed to fix the problem so only one visit was required. He did a great job and we would definitely use him again!
Awesome service on time and courteous
Via our home insurance, Chris put in a new water heater. Charged our insurance 75.00 for a 35.00 permit he opted to not obtain. When no one contacted us for the inspection, we called the insurance company. They confirmed payment for the permit. Called the City of RR..no permit requested. The insurance company repeatedly called Chris, as well as ourselves. He finally responded..got a permit and set up an inspection...for yesterday... the inspector did not show nor did Chris... my husband placed a call to Chris, who responded an hour later. No updates.. no nothing. Sent a text this morning and still no response. Complaints will be filed to the City, insurance and BBB.
I called Ski’s Plumbing to get an estimate to replace valves and add a whole house filter in my well house. Laura, his wife, called when he was on his way. The price was good and we set up a day to do the work. The evening before, Laura called and asked if Chris could reschedule by a couple of hours. No problem. When Chris arrived, we discussed the valve placements and how he would route the pipes for the filter. I have to change the filter and service the water softener, so in my mind it looked workable. Measure, cut, glue – off to work he went and finished in about an hour. He knew what he was doing. He said to give it about 30 minutes while we cleaned up then he would slowly add water pressure and bleed air from the tub in the house. One week later – looks good and doesn’t leak. Chris and Laura were pleasant to work with and the work is first rate quality. I highly recommend Ski’s Plumbing in Liberty Hill.
Just had Chris finish up with a service call to my house and super nice guy. Extremely honest and straightforward. First came in and took a look at the situation, let me know what work he was going to do, and was open and honest about all of it. Will definitely be a returning customer when the need arises again.
