Do NOT Hire Them!! We hired Mike Davis Plumbing to set a well pump for us. When we contacted him he said the average price for what we wanted to have done was about $2,500. That was still a high price. We still got him to do the job. A man came and made four total trips to do the job working about 1.5 - 2 hours each time for a total of about 7-8 hours .. about a days a work. When his job was done and gone I had to go back and fill in the ditch better for the waterline coming from the well head. The pump was setting sidways on the ground and not level. It looked horrable. I asked yhe man that who done the job and asked if he could level it and he made a bunch of excuses as to why he couldnt do it so I done that myself. The water line coming threw the block foundation was not right and had to be redone and Mike said he would have to charge me if he came back. I told him he should have done it right the first time but he did fix it. The wires coming out of the well head needed to be protected with electrical tapeto keep from being cut by the metal cap and I had to wrap them myself. Well ..we got his bill. $4,200 !!! I call and talked to Mike about his bill.. He said he spent 24 hours there which was not accurate and told me the prices of some of the materials he used which was also not true and I saw that he had inflated them substantially! He became very arrogant and mouthy over the phone. His bill said due in 30 days. He had post dated it by one week before he even finished the job! After 2 weeks he called wanting his money before the bill was even due! Mike Davis Plumbing is not a honest buisiness and does very shotty work. Dont hire them unless you enjoy trouble, pour workmanship and dishonesty.
