Affordable Plumbing

From time to time someone does something that surprises me. This is one I'm going to share. I'm an apartment manager and one of my tenants called me about 8:30pm to inform me sewage was backing up into his unit. I immediately called "Affordable Plumbing". A guy answers and tells me he's on an emergency call and that he would call me back in a few minutes to get the job location information. At 12:30am he still had not called back so I called back at the same number. No answer so I left a message. At 4:30am this morning I called again. The same voice I'd talked to earlier answered. I told him who I was and he acted like he didn't take the initial call or know what I was talking about. So he took down the information from me and said he'd be out here around 11:00am earlier if he can make it. I replied "If you can make it sooner that would be great, my tenants have a sewage filled bathtub and toilet and we have been waiting for a call back since 8:30pm". Up to this point the conversation between myself and this plumber was polite and cordial, but this is where it took a hard left turn. His reply to me verbatim was "You know what buddy, find someone else to do the job". I replied "I guess I'll have to" and I hung up. The conversation never had a bad slant on it at any time. It was all polite and cordial. So I was shocked when this guy out of the blue just said to get someone else to do it. So I have to say this company was very unprofessional - Rude - obviously don't care about customer relations. This is the experience I had with this company!

Needed to have a kitchen faucet replaced. The parts may have cost 50 bucks, and there were two men so maybe 3 hours 4 if were pushing it. They charged me OVER 500 bucks!! They didn't even give me a breakdown of the cost! The two workers said uh that's just what the boss told us. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE RIPOFF!! DON'T use this company!

The owner of this company "Jared" was highly unprofessional to me on the phone, and also is extremely over priced. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Steer clear of "Jared".
