I know the owner on a personal basis, because I grew up with him in the thriving metropolitan community of Batley (a blink-your-eyes-and-it's-gone community). I can state with full confidence that the owner of the business is ALWAYS honest. He will NOT take advantage of the elderly, nor anyone else, for that matter. As a Christian, the owner tries his best to live his life in a Christlike manner, even though he fails at times. The owner could make a considerable amount of money in his line of work, but he refuses to cheat people, plus if he chooses this path of deceit, he'll lose his Christian witness/testimony. I know for a fact the owner values his Christian witness/testimony, which when lost, the damage is almost permanent or irreversible, over making a few extra dollars, which is only temporary. In any event, the owner of the plumbing business is not beyond making mistakes, but he will NOT blatantly cheat or lie to take advantage of anyone. The reviewer in the previous post may be mistaken or confused about a few key issues which led to his one-star rating, especially since he wasn't there when the work took place, he might work for or have a friend who owns a competing plumbing business in the local area, he might be one of those customers that always wants something of value, whether it's a good or service, for free, or he might have the owner of the plumbing business confused with the owner's brother, who was a plumber, also, with the same last name, but he died a few years ago (unsure of the exact date). When seeking a trustworthy and competent plumber for your needs, word-of-mouth advertising is the best form of advertising. I'm confident the owner of the plumbing business will provide anyone with a list of his past clients. The owner also does work or used to work for a well-known local realtor, so he's another possible character witness, in addition to being a witness regarding the owner's quality of work. I'm sure the owner has "Ivory-Soap" percent (99.9%) for satisfied customers! :)

Mr. Childs is a wonderful plumber. He is responsive and explains his work well when I have questions. Since moving to the area three years ago, he has helped me several times. Please give him a call, you will be satisfied with his work.
