I called Giles Plumbing after hours last night. Mr. Giles and his son-in law came out and fixed my leak. I was very grateful as this was my water main line and we would have been without water. Definitely recommend this plumber.
I had a major leak under the foundation of my home. I had got an estimate from another company, and it was ridiculous. Giles was fair priced and they even competed the work on Memorial Day weekend, which I'm sure they would have liked to have off. I also received great communication from their tech, Chris. I think I've found my new plumbing company!
We have multiple properties that we have attempted to use this company for. The 1st 2 times were fine, however, with our 3rd property, we had a hot water pipe burst & they were supposed to come out. No one ever called or showed up. I gave them a 2nd chance and they showed up, but said they needed to come back(mind you it was over the weekend & my tenants have not had hot water). They were supposed to be back out Monday and again, No Call No Show. I called the office Tuesday & they have no idea what is going on & no notes on what the price or what is needed to be done. All I got was "we are short staffed". I'm sorry, but that is not my problem. My problem is getting hot water to my tenants & I thought I could rely on this company. I am taking my multiple properties & business elsewhere.
Called about fixing a shower. Got an acceptable window (2-4pm) for the tech to come out and diagnose. Planned erronds for the morning and to be home in the afternoon for the plumber. While I was out in the morning, got a call from the plumber asking to move appointment up. Couldn't do it as I was out. He was professional and said my original window was still fine. 3:30p comes around and no contact from plumber. Called the home office and left a message asking about status of the plumber. No call back and haven't heard from anyone since. Poor service and unprofessional. Based on my limited experience, I don't recommend this company.
