Called this morning at 8:30AM for someone to be sent out to fix our leaking toilet. I was told someone was on the way. It is currently 1:28PM and no one has yet to show up. I called at 11AM also to check how much longer it would be, and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. She didn't ask for my name, she did not give me a time estimate. And assured me that she's had MANY calls this morning. Not sure how many people could have possibly called before I did at 8:30AM, but I'm sure that should've put me somewhere near the top of the list. Very unreliable. Dissatisfied.

PLEASE BE AWARE!!! Jacob Plumbing uses unfair and unethical business practices. Contacted this company for dishwasher installation. The lady that answered the phone quoted me a price of $100 an hour including parts, also stated that the estimated time for installation would be 90 minutes. The technicians arrived at my home will out any prior notification, the lady didn’t provide me with a service appointment time just told me she would try to send someone out. The technician proceeded with the job which was a simple install, no additional parts were needed. Upon completion, the simple install took 2 technicians 2 hours to complete and I was charged $350. When I inquired about the cost of labor the lady explained that I had to pay $125 an hour for EACH technician and that the dishwasher took 3 hours to install. I initially took her word for it but once I did the math and actually looked back at my phone to confirm the actual time of installation as I texted my husband before the technicians started and after the job was complete. I realized that we were being taken advantage of. I called the company to complain about the extremely overpriced service the next morning. The lady hung up on me twice, on our third conversation I informed her that I would be placing a stop payment on the check for $350 as I did not agree with the price and thought it was unfair because the actual time of installation and the final price was grossly over the price I was initially quoted. My husband informed her that we would be more than happy to pay $200 which was the $100 an hour, which is what she initially quoted me. She refused to take payment and informed me that she would be taking the cancelled check to the Magistrate Office. Realizing that we were being bullied we took her up on the offer and headed straight to the Magistrate Office to discuss. 10 minutes later we received a call from the company stating we could place the $200 check in the mail, because she did not give me a correct quote. Save yourself some stress and stay away from this company.

The woman that answered was rude and nasty. I will never call this company again.
