J Joyce Plumbing & Heating

I'm very sorry to do this, but I had a horrible experience with these folks. It's not my way to publicly call out a company, especially a neighborhood company - but in all honesty we received terrible service that left us feeling both ignored and taken advantage of. In summary, we had an awful time getting them to show up to our home for service. After leaving two messages at the office, I had to stop one of them in the street when I saw them driving by in order to get them to come to the house. When they arrived, we were told we needed a new water heater...though we hadn't called for a water heater. They showed me brown water from the tank, said it meant it was time for a new one...I have since heard from other plumbers that this is a "plumber's trick" to move water heaters. Anyway, they installed the water heater, said we'd have to reschedule to take care of the issues we originally called about having fixed. I made an appointment, and they never showed. When I called to reschedule, nobody apologized. Since then, nobody has ever called back...so we ended up calling a different neighborhood plumbing company (Zawadzki Plumbing) instead and have received excellent service. I'm sorry to say it, but the whole interaction with J Joyce was frustrating, disappointing, expensive and has left us feeling taken advantage of. Not great, folks...not great at all.

They came to my house and gave me an estimate . I paid the $85.00 for the estimate. They did not respond when I called them twice to come to do the work.

Thank you, Jim Joyce for responding so quickly and fixing our heating problem. We had more than one issue, so figuring out why our heat wasn’t turning on wasn’t easy. I appreciate the fact that you did not try to replace an entire boiler, but rather replace the one part that was malfunctioning. Shannon Randall :)

Jim and Joe are the best! They service all of my properties and I never had a problem. Great group of guys.
