I ask myself, how do people like these stay in business. They were referred to me by a neighbour. I called them, spoke to Ginger who runs their customer service. She said she would speak to her manager and get right back to me. Two hours later no call. Waited 2 days and still no call back. Monday I called again and left a message on her personal line and 3 days later she still hasn't called back. Don't waste your time, there are plenty of other good plumbers in the valley and happy to say I found one.
Have used them several times in detecting and repairing underground leaks. Very hard working crew, worked through the night until repairs were completed at 5:00 AM. Very happy with their service.
Good plumbing place
I own a second floor rental condo in Mesquite Country Club. The owner of the condo directly below called and said water was dripping from her ceiling directly below our shower into her shower below. Southwest came and looked at the problem and met with our tenant and the owner below and said the repair to replace the shower drain would take 4 - 5 hours. Southwest sent me a quote on November 29, 2017 for $2,260.00 which specified it did not include painting the ceiling of the condo below. I called and emailed Southwest 3 times over the next two days and left messages to be called back so I could ask some questions but my calls were not returned. On Dec. 5 their receptionist called to ask for authorization to charge my credit card for the call out. I explained I had some questions and then spoke with Matt. He initially was very aggressive and wanted payment without answering any questions. Eventually he offered to text me pictures of the problem and a properly itemized invoice which I had explained was required by my insurance providers. I received the pictures promptly but no revised quote. After leaving another message for Matt on Dec. 10, I received a revised quote on Dec. 11 which was not itemized as discussed and was for another $300 - $2,579.00 . It included 8 hours for a plumber at $105/hr and a helper for 8 hours at $65/hr. and drywall repair at $1,100 but did not mention painting. I left a message for Matt inquiring whether the additional $300 was to cover painting. So far I have not received a reply. On the same day, Dec. 11, I looked at the problem with another plumber. It was immediately obvious it was a very simple repair. It was fixed the next morning for $500 which includes drywall repair and painting. This saved me from having to make an insurance claim and pay my $1,500 deductible. If Southwest had acted promptly in a professional manner I probably would have filed an insurance claim and had the repair done by them. The lack of response concerned me sufficiently that I looked for other options and I am glad I did. Southwest Plumbing is an unprofessional, ripoff scam company. Similar to an earlier reviewer I would not recommend Southwest. Always get a second opinion. I have given them one star only because this site won't allow zero stars.
