I have been using Good plumbing for over 20 years. They have completed repairs from a leaky toilet to replacing my well pump. They have always performed as expected of better. There charges have always been reasonable.
Horrible service. Told me their hourly rate. Was at my house for 40 minutes and charged me for 3 hours. Didn’t even fix the problem, told me I had to buy a whole new AC unit. Never responded to my phone calls to correct the bill, but would leave me messages to pay them. Called them out for an estimate. A man came out with a scrap piece of paper looked around, wrote some notes, and never called back with an estimate. Good is NOT good!
I called GoodPlumbing to repair a cracked toilet flange. I had to wait a few days because they were booked solid, but it was definitely worth the wait. The plumber from Good was punctual, professional, and efficient. I had the toilet disconnectedv and had the flange area cleaned so it only - took 75 minutes to repair. Good Plumbing's hourly rate was very reasonable $75 per hour - $125 for my total bill with parts and labor. I.T. Landes came to my house and even though I had the toilet removed and flange area cleaned, they refused to deduct it from the cost of them doing the job which they quoted at more than 3 times my total bill from Good Plumbing. The I.T. Landes plumber who came to my house told me they couldn't factor in the work I had done because they use a fixed fee schedule.
Very bad experience. First they come with no shoe protectors and ruin your carpets. Then they charge from the moment they leave the business till the moment they return. (Wish my job did that) Next they tell you you need parts that aren’t even broken. I always get a second opinion for larger jobs. I will never use them again. I would give them no stars but that’s not an option.
These guys were awesome. I had to have a hot water heater replaced during a snowstorm a few weeks ago. I found that the tank was leaking around 9:30am. I called them up and they were out to the house by noon. Took about 2 hours to complete the job. Excellent work and extremely fair pricing. I highly recommend these guys.
