Adams Plumbing

Called on Friday (they were closed) and left a message early in the day. Two bathrooms flooded at my home as it appears the main sewer was clogged. Waited for call back. No one called. They were closed on Monday too. A week later and still no one called back. Not good ! What's the point of 24 hr emergency service if no one calls back ?

We bought our home in August. In mid January, the 18-year old gas water heater died. We called Adams Plumbing and they were able to replace it with a new one within a couple days. The total for the new gas water heater, removal & install, plus disposal of the old one, took only about 3 hours and was only a little more than it would have cost me to do it myself (at less than 1/3 the time and hassle than it would have been for me to do it myself). Very professional and quick response. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

We all need some folks we feel comfortable with and can count on. I had a few leaks from copper pipes. Doug gave me an estimate to replace all the water lines in our home. I put it off for nearly two years. Eventually, we had another leak and I finally called him to come out and do the work. I arranged for a drywall contractor to open the walls & ceilings prior to his arrival. He had to cancel and I am very glad he did. Doug cut only what he absolutely needed to and avoided damaging several walls by rerouting the pipes to new locations. While in there, he also replaced everything else that would require opening up walls if they leaked. The work was done well and very close to original estimate. He is my plumber!

I switched to Adams after some questionable repairs by my last plumber. My initial feelings were super positive. However, today they are super negative. When calling for a follow up to an unresolved issue I unfortunately had the misfortune to connect with what i can only describe as an incoherent and aggressive phone receptionist who proceeded to argue with me about my problem despite the fact that i wasn't angry and just wanted a follow up visit. She apparently disliked my tone even though i wasn't angry and proceeded to argue with me about how mad i apparently sounded. I even told her how much i liked the technician and the service he provided. This then degenerated into a ridiculous and escalated hysteria from her that ended with her slamming the phone down on me. Totally unprofessional and ignorant behavior for a person representing a company. No way would I ever deal with Adams again nor recommend it to anyone. I have called another more customer friendly plumbing service to solve the problem.

We just moved to the area, and Adam's Plumbing will now be our go-to plumber! Yesterday, I called them with a pipe explosion issue in our basement and no one picked up, so I left a message. Someone called me back immediately, and they had Doug come out within the hour! He was kind and knowledgeable and fixed our problem right away. Thank you, Adam's Plumbing!!
