I tried to order a replacement for a broken window through the Santa Cruz Home Depot. After more than three months of complete incompetence and unhelpfulness, I've finally had to cancel the order and get my money back. They literally could not get the order right. I wanted a double-hung window with a locking mechanism. The first few times, they got a window with no lock. Then there was some kit you could use to install a lock, and we told them we had ordered it with the lock installed, they should do it themselves. Finally got a window that was configured correctly, went to put it in our house, and the top window was completely jammed. You couldn't open it from the top. Took it back, told them to order a new one. Guess what? Same problem. A supposedly double hung window you can only open the bottom window on. Just cancelled the whole thing, will start over someplace else.
