I was a PM for a General Contractor when I first started working with Hogan Plumbing. There was one job in particular we were doing a seismic retrofit with a historical restoration in downtown Laguna Beach and the plumbing scope was extremely complicated. So much so the mech engineer was having difficulty giving us a game plan in this congested area. Jim Hogan came in and helped not only with the installation but he actually took over the engineering side of things so we could get permiting from the city. Ive yet to meet a more knowledgable contractor.
