GOOD PEOPLE, FAST SERVICE AND GOOD WORK!
They don't care about your time, money, property or the quality of their work. Used them for repairs at my mom's house and a plumber was lying on the floor working under the kitchen sink. He was cussing at his helper insisting he needed a certain wrench. Finally he really wanted to tell the guy off and rolled over to cuss at his face and the wrench was under his belly. Her tub faucet was dripping so I went to check their work and their fix was to torque down the handle so tight I couldn't even turn on the water. My mom is 80 and has had a stroke so I told them they would actually have to fix the leak. The plumber was so aggressive I felt sorry for his helper. Imagine 8 hours of abuse! Another time they replaced the faucet in my kitchen. The spray gun has never worked. Last summer my front faucet outside was dripping and a plumber came out and replaced it. The new faucet was dripping and the guy said you need an o-ring between the hose and faucet. As I went to my garage to get an o-ring he drove off. The faucet was still dripping and the plumber had to come back to fix the drip. 2 weeks ago I noticed the other outside faucet was dripping. My 2 toilets began acting up as well. I replaced the flapper on one but that did not resolve the problem the handle on the other toilet had started rubbing against the inside of the tank holding the flapper open. I called Stan's and told them one dripping outside faucet & two running toilets. On 3-8-19 a plumber showed up and immediately took a call. He put on a sad voice and said in the phone "You know I've been sickly all day." I asked him if he was sick when he hung up and he said no I want some help. He went to the toilet with the handle issue and I told him replace anything you need to replace to stop the water loss. 2 other guys showed up shortly 1 with an inch of, let's call it mud, dried up all over his filthy boots. The mud was breaking off and falling all over the house as he clomped around. I went out to check on the guy who was looking at the outside faucet. He didn't even try to turn the faucet he said we have to cut a hole in the wall. I told him no. I told him they had replaced the other faucet last year and no one said anything about cutting a hole in my walls. I told him to repack the faucet instead of replacing it. Let's start small! He repacked the faucet the other guys acted like they were done and gave me a bill for $299.15. Long story short. I paid $299.15 for one new flapper. I checked the outside faucet and water actually shot out of it when I turned it on. Another plumber repacked the faucet 3 days later and it is not dripping anymore. Cost another $113. The toilet with the handle issue? Stan's sent the sickly plumber back and he replaced the handle using some type of heat to bend the handle. It then start refilling every couple of minutes. Stan's sent a different plumber out and there is now a crack in the tank. There was not a crack and the toilet wasn't refilling before the guy did whatever he did with the handle and heating tool. OK I try to put a positive spin on the situation. Told Stan's no problem I was going to replace the floor and I wanted a taller toilet and would they just come back and set the toilet when I replace the floor. They agreed. I removed the cracked toilet and the floor guy said the flange need work before he would put down new tile. No problem I called Stan's the girl made an appointment for a particular plumber who I trust to come out Monday 3-25-19 between 10 & 12. At 12 I called her and she said that she never told me a specific time. So I just made this time up a week ago and wrote it in my planner! They said that he could come between 12 and 2. He never came they never called and quite frankly I'm sick of these incompetents lying to me and about our interactions and insinuating that I am lying or imagining things. Yes I paid $299.15 to have them crack my toilet tank and turn a drip in an outside faucet into a flood. I also had to cancel the tile guy when the plumber didn't show but they don't care !
Came out on time and did the job as expected without pulling any tricks. Would definitely use again.
Had them replace the shutoff valve in an upstairs sink that broke and flooded the downstairs ceiling. They were on-time and the repairs were done quickly and reasonably.
Great service
