A & L Plumbing

A&L came out to my house for a bathtub leak, fixed part of the issue and was to come back at a later date to finish the work. I never heard back from them. Rick, the owner, I believe, would not return my phone calls. I found this incredibly unprofessional as they had cut a hole in the ceiling to allow water to drain from the bathtub on the second floor and was to come back to fix the remaining issues. Now I have a leaky tub (for which the original issue was never fixed) and a hole in my ceiling, and A&L will not return my phone calls. I had to hire a new plumber to come fix what A&L had not finished. The worst part about it is they charged me $200 for the initial visit, which I paid. So I am out $200 and nothing has been fixed.

I had a problem with my kitchen faucet. They came out, at no charge, and confirmed my issue. They took photos of the part that needed to be replaced. Later that afternoon, they let me know that the part I needed was no longer manufactured. I purchased a new kitchen faucet, and within a few days, they returned, and quickly replaced the faulty faucet with my new one. Mike was extremely polite, and detail orientated in the installation. Any further plumbing needs, and A & L will be the first company I call.

Initial problem was the bathtube faucet ran water when the shower was on which caused the shower not to have water pressure. The tech came and said he had to order the part . Then that part did not come in for 2 months. Then he replaced that part. This did not fix the problem. Two years latter came out and said the faucet needed replacing. Ok did that which he had removed the panel behind the shower to get to the pipes. Ok but it was removable just was painted over. So what needed done was using a blade to cut through. Nope the plumber tore it apart beyond repair and riped the tile out as well. He left a mess all over the floor and entire bathroom and left. He said it's fixed. Nope that was two days before Christmas then our ceiling began to leak in the kitchen from the shower. Great he said we will be out the day after Christmas. Great he comes back out ripes the wall apart again. He said the pipe needed shaudered and it was difficult. He left a huge mess worse then the last time. I called the company and was told they would send him back. I said no way. Now let's just wait and see if it leaks again. Either way dont call them for help. They are extremely unprofessional. Got paid 4 times for the same initial problem.

You always worry when you have a plumbing emergency because you're at the mercy of the plumber's benevolence on that day. However, I called A&L Plumbing when my water heater died and I was delighted by the time they left. Rick showed up and quickly ascertained the problem. I was terrified I would need a new water heater but all it needed was maintenance. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, he explained to me how to prevent it in the future. I'll be using these guys again!
