I work with a property management company. We have used many different Roto Rooters across the company. Never and I mean NEVER have I had any of them be as rude and disrespectful as this "owner and operator" Chad. I sent him to one of our rental properties, the tenant stated he was in the home for maybe 20 minutes and left without saying a word. When I called to speak with Chad I asked him if he was able to tell me what the cause of the leak was. I got um, oh, well, I'm not sure it I saw wipes by the toilet so there could be a clog. After listening to him stumble on his words for 5 minutes I stopped him because I was at that point confused. I said Chad, I'm not understanding what you are saying, is there a hole in the pipe or is it over flowing? What is needed to make this leak stop. He immediately raised his voice and told me he WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN IF I WOULD LISTEN. Trying to keep my cool I asked who his supervisor was, at that time I was told he was the owner and operator of the business. I politely thanked him and ended the call. Never will I use them again and would warn others.
After two scheduled appointments (spanning 4 hours each) and no one showing up, I’m done with Roto-Rooter. Save your time and find another company.
Called to get an emergency service call for frozen pipes at my residence in north Baltimore. The gentleman told me to call the Toledo branch!?!? Findlay is 10-14 miles away, Toledo is 30+
Really needed them to pull through on this one and they knew we needed it done as fast as possible. We were told we needed a clean out and that it would be $4,000! A small local plumber came in and fixed the problem very quickly for $175. No clean out needed and that was never the issue. Also the local plumber mentioned that if we needed a clean out it would be $500-$800. Heard this has happened to many other people and when you threaten to sue them, they return the money. They KNOW they are overcharging.
They did excellent work for me, the employee was very polite. I would recommend for anyone or business
