Performance Plumbing & Piping

If I could give them more stars, I would. We purchased an older home over the summer. After living there for a few weeks, it became apparent that there was an issue with the plumbing somewhere, because the house smelled like sewer gas on some days. We called several plumbers, who told us it was a dry trap, or a floor drain issue and could not help us resolve it. We finally called Performance Plumbing on a recommendation. They were able to pinpoint the issue, which was a crushed cast iron pipe in the basement, likely done when the basement bathroom was installed. Over the course of a few visits, they were able to rip out the bad pipes, install new PVC and completely resolve that issue, and another one we had not known about as well (poor plumbing in other places that had resulted in some back ups). The work was not cheap, but it was done right and we wasted money on other plumbers before we found them. They were responsive, professional, considerate, and communicated with us well. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Everyone that works their are done to earth, very friendly people, They know what their doing and they always get it done right and faster then a lot of other places. The biggest thing I love about this place is they are not money hungry for what it is they do they do it the cheapest and it's done RIGHT. The owner John,is a great guy who acts just as you and I do I think that's why his company is so great.

Only did half the job. Cut out water softener tank from main pipe but never came back to remove the tank when they said they wouldn't. Didn't have dolly at the time apparently. I was able to get it out the back door and left it on the back porch so we didn't need to be here when they returned but didn't return my call or ever come to get it.
