So I scheduled at appt for work on a condo shared line for tomorrow. I'm on the bottom of a two story condo and I get all of the flooding on a shared line. I made the appt on Tuesday based on a message from United's receptionist that the work was my responsibility after Robert came to look at the issue a week and a half ago. Then two days after I made the appt, I was told by the Property Manager that it could be an HOA issue so submit a work scope first, so they can review it before I pay for it in case the HOA may cover it. In addition the upstairs owner told me he didn't agree to me doing any shared line work and to have it voted on first. I called to cancel the appt a day before they were to come out which is when I got all of this back from everyone. I spoke with Robert to ask him if he could submit work scope or order to me or the property manager. I'm paraphrasing, but as I was trying to explain to him what I was told, he kept interrupting me in the most condescending way possible, shouting, "next., next, next, next!!" When I tried through the interruptions to ask about the order, he said he's not going to write @$%& for me. He had to reschedule all of his crew around because of the cancellation. He's not some school teacher (which I am). He's running a company and I f'ed up his schedule and then told me not to call him back. On my end, just a lot of errs and oks. This was my first time speaking with him since he came out a week and a half earlier. The review is not for any work, since it didn't get that far. On my end, I should have confirmed with the property manager before making the appointment. He had come out over a week before to evaluate and I may have been mistakenly under the impression he communicated with them since then. After I notified the property manager, I started getting feedback about pursuing it through the HOA to let them vote (I've been told for years it was my responsibility, but whatever), so like I said, I should have straightened it out with them first before making the appointment. I get his frustration about being inconvenienced. This review is because his frustration became personal with the way he shut me down during the call, made small what I did for a living for some weird reason, and then hanging up on me. No one should have to be talked to the way I just was.
TERRIBLE! STAY AWAY! I had to write this review to warn others about this horrible company. I saw their company had good reviews on Yelp and hired them for a minor issue replacing the shower valves in my restroom. Their quotes for higher than other places but they assured me they will warranty their work on any workmanship defects. LIES! I had molding issues a month after they came and found out the valve was leaking! I called them to let to know, instead of trying to fix the issue. Robert the manager was RUDE, obnoxious, and lectured me like I was a kid. He refuses to do anything about it. I'm taken back and decide to stay way. I call another plumber who had to take out all my tiles and dry wall and find out the previous plumber did a shoddy job and had to fix everything he messed up on. DIRTY LIARS!
I just had United plumbing heating air electrical out to my house to troubleshoot a faulty switch to my bedroom ceiling fan. The technician, Jonathan Mosales, was very professional and took the time to explain what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. I was impressed with the quality of their work and how quick they were able to come to the house. I would use them again.
Gary (#149) was on time, they came the same day I made the call. He worked quickly, fixed the problem with no drama (yay!) and was very nice. We've used United Plumbing Services before, and we like them very much. Thank you, Gary.
Amazing job. Very honest and on Time.
