Ameri-Cal Repipe & Plumbing

The one gentlemen I worked with for detecting where the leak was at was very talented, but the pricing is absolutely nothing like what they tell you over the phone. They wanted $125 to put a pressure gauge on the hose bib to read the pressure to the house (a $10 item from Home Depot), $250 for the leak detection and $800 to fix a pin hole sized leak. The front office tells you the diagnostic part is free. To his credit, he was very good at finding the leak, only one cut in the drywall to find it. Nice work there. However, I fixed the problem for $20 with two shark bite detectors and some pex at Home Depot. He was so interested in getting me to repipe (started talking about it before the leak detection even began), it just smelled bad to me from the start. My big disappointment was that he had to go to a different appointment so we agreed he would finish the leak detection the next day (he thought there was a compound leak). I called them in advance to be straightforward and let them know that I fixed what was identified. Now, suddenly, they won't come back to finish the leak detection. That's a bummer. I shouldn't have been so nice to let him leave, that's my fault. Who would have thought he wouldn't honor his word?

Ameri-Cal is the best repipe company out there. I called on 4 different companies and listened to sales people that told me how complicated my house was going to be, or how long it take, only to try to charge me almost twice as much as Ameri-Cal. The sales person on the phone gave me a general quote over the phone and then confirmed the price once I met with him. I then was able to get it schedule that week and have the work completed in 3 days. It took them one day to repipe, one day off for inspection, and one day to patch the cut walls. NO SURPISE costs. They have done a couple referrals and both people were very delighted on their professionalism and great price.

Carlos Ontiveros of AmeriCal is a true professional. He and his team just did a repipe of our house and we are very impressed with their work and customer focused attitude! Would recommend Carlos and his team any time! Can’t say the same thing about their business guy though. Thank you, Carlos!

You should train your field staff in some manners. Don't catch these guys on the streets.
