Home Services at The Home Depot

I came to The Home Depot to simply ask what supplies I needed to install shades in my new apartment and to get advice on the most practical shades for me. Of the dozens of employees working on the floor, I was told only the 2 people in the shade area were knowledgeable to help me. I proceeded to wait at least 20 minutes while one lady helped another couple. The other man working there spent the entire time on the phone and did not even acknowledge I was standing there. Eventually the woman employee helping the other couple asked if I needed help and if I asked the man for help, so I explained I had been waiting near him the entire time. She told me to go and tell him I was there...but I am not someone who interrupts phone conversations. I understand people need to help other customers, even on the phone, but to not acknowledge someone standing there is rude and horrific service.
