Warning others of the bad experience we had with this business! There are 58 different legal filings of Expert Sewer & Drain, LLC at Stony Point and/or under Ralph Pagan's name listed on Rockland County's website. Based on that, I am now questioning what actual licensing or insurance they have based on these listings. I would investigate these claims yourself and with the county before doing business with them. In my situation they claimed to repair our sewer pump, test and verify it works. They refused to give us any rates before the service then were demanding $1000, almost twice what another shop charged. We ultimately paid a reasonable price after some intense negotiating but then found out the pump was not working. It was actually in worse condition when I checked after the visit. We hired a separate pump specialist to come the next day and found the pump was still completely clogged and was not properly reinstalled. Certainly never let them leave or pay them without personally checking your system is fully repaired and fully functioning! Don't invite them without a firm estimate of the work, preferably in writing.
These guys have been lifesavers. Water sensors in our basement went off at 9:45 pm last night because the sewer line was backing up. I called Expert and left a message. Joe called back within 5 minutes and had me on the schedule for the next morning. Our line was clear and they were out within an hour. Professional, thorough and kind people who never let us down!

Stay away from this company!!! This company didn't complete the job on the first visit and promised to return to complete the job next week. however, this company doesn't know what how to solve the drain issue and problem and asked me to purchase a water plumb to take the water out by myself! Very bad experience. I have requested to refund me money due to they are unable to solve the issue. They just walked away and never return. On the receipt as shown, they provide 15 months warranty but never return. Stay away from this company!!! Stay away from this company!!!
