Pride Plumbing of Rochester

I had fairly extensive plumbing work done today by David and Scott. As I expected after I had met David when he came to give me an estimate, everything went smoothly, they completed the job in less than a full day and were very courteous and considerate. All work was explained to me, and then reviewed with me at the end of the job. Cleaned up after themselves, and were respectful of my new (to me) home. David even asked me if I had any pets at home when he had to leave the door open to bring tools or materials in . Very considerate. Both David and Scott looked very clean and professional. I was very impressed with the job they did at , what I would consider , a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them highly to any friends, neighbors or relatives.

We had a gas line installed by Keith from Pride Plumbing today and was very pleased. Keith was on time, courteous, friendly, and went above and beyond what is normally expected for an install. He explained the details of the work to be done, the method for costing, and also provided advice on other unrelated home issues. I will call Pride again, for other work in the future - Jon, West Henrietta. Update: Called Pride again, as my first choice, for a water heater issue. Same great service by David. Thanks!

Ken did an amazing job renovating the shower stall in our bathroom. He gave us expert advice on how to fine tune the design and where to get materials. He showed exceptional care in making sure all the hidden parts of the job (like sealing behind tiles and in the floor) were done right. The tile work was immaculate and the whole finish of the project is just amazing. He was a courteous and tidy worker and just all around terrific. Would definitely work with him and Pride Plumbing again based on this project.

July 2019 update: a shutoff valve in our kitchen failed. Called Ross at 7:30 the next morning, was told to expect a technician same afternoon. Steve called ahead of time, arrived and diagnosed the problem, replaced the bad shutoff valve. Great responsiveness to our "emergency," quick and effective installation by Steve. In search for a new plumber, I remembered having seen the distinctive Pride Plumbing van at a neighbor's house. I was able to quickly secure an appointment to repair a leaky shut-off valve. David called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He was friendly, efficient, neat and did a great job. While he was here, he also helped scheduled a second appointment to take care of another plumbing concern. I am definitely happy with my experience and will look to Pride Plumbing for help with my residential plumbing needs.

$400/hr??? Are they crazy? WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. STAY AWAY. There are much less expensive plumbers who will do great work. First off, these guys charge $50 just to come out and look at the job. I had them quote replacing one outdoor frost-free spigot and they quoted $470! The guy mentioned it would only take an hour. The materials cost about $70 which means they're charging $400 for an hour of work! That's just insane. The quoting process took less than 10 minutes and now I'm out $50. We had a second contractor come out who quoted materials for $70 and 1 hr of work for $125. The work was done for less than half the price of Pride Plumbing.
