Potter Heating & Air Conditioning-Perrone Plumbing

Sent someone over that admitted he knew nothing about oil furnaces even though on the phone was told of course they serviced oil furnaces. Left me in the cold with no answers or help on a winter night. Now are charging me close to 400 dollars. For what? Would avoid this company and go elsewhere.

Changed over 250 and did nothing said the system was old. Claims the high rate was after hours even tho we had an appointment at 5 and they were running 3 hours late. These scam artists shouldn’t be in business!

Experience was very good. I was called ahead of time to let me know when to expect their arrival. Employee wore booties when in the house to protect our hardwoods. He was polite, professional, and informative throughout the process. This was work on a vintage toilet, and although parts had to be special ordered(which we expected), we were kept informed from the ordering, receipt, and the rescheduled visit. They arrived again and very efficiently completed the repair. This is the second time I've used this company and I plan on utilizing them for years to come.

My complaint is with their price, their communication and their general customer service. They will charge you $120 minimum, which they did not warn me about (I figured it would be $60-80, like most other places I've dealt with). When I asked them to call me as I wanted to talk to them about this lack of communication and see about possibly getting a partial refund or credit, I got no reply. Maybe its my own damn fault, but I think they could have at least given me the courtesy of a call to tell me that. I Found another local company that came out within an hour and was upfront with their costs (which was about 25%-30% cheaper). Better bang for your buck elsewhere... nevermind that ignoring an upset customers is just rude.
