Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain

I called Roto-rooter for the flood in the basement and a guy named Scott said that the price would be $325.00+tax and I said, 'Go ahead and do it'. And he called me after the flood was gone and said that it would be over $800.00. This is way unprofessional and when I checked my account, he already charged me $864.00 without my permission. This is my third time service with Roto-Rooter. I had great experience for the first two times but this time is the worst. Manager called me while I was writing this review and sure there were some arguments. He negotiated the price and my response was that I don't I allow any higher charge than the initial price quote and if they ever charged me any higher, I will bring lawsuit against them and only then did the manger charged me the outlaw price quote. I am done with Roto-rooter and will call J.R. Swanson plumbing next time.

We had a kitchen sink clog on a Sunday morning. We called a local plumber and when I said we had a clog they said "and you want us to come on a Sunday". They said they charge $225 just to walk through the door! We called Roto-Rooter and they were here before 12:30 (with a courtesy call 20 minutes before they arrived). Our service person, Dan, was neat, friendly, efficient and cleaned up behind himself before he left. He even offered some tips to help us prevent the problem from happening again. From now on, this will always be our FIRST call!

The Technician was very courteous, explained the job in detail and the price. He completed the job to our satisfaction even though it was late in the evening. Thanks Roto-Rooter.
