Halco

Called Halco told them I was closing on my house soon and I needed my boiler serviced and certified. They set me up with an appointment and then two days prior to the appointment they called and asked if I would like my boiler serviced today. Of course I did with everything going on with a closing!! Chris came and was professional and thorough and can’t forget friendly. He explained everything he was doing! The price is competitive and should the need arise I will call Halco again!!

We enrolled in the Platinum plan after having a Navien high efficiency boiler-water heater unit installed. The technicians are always prompt and very professional. We’ve had a few minor issues since the install four years ago and technicians always respond within a day. Very happy with our choice and recommend without reservation.

Over the past four or five years I have used Halco for some semi-major work (new electrical panels, baseboard heaters, water heaters) and small jobs (plumbing and electrical repairs). Technicians have all been professional, competent, respectful and friendly. I especially like their professional advice on various options. They've saved me money with clever adaptations to my old house's strange spaces and previous work. Communication with the main office is also outstanding. Scheduling is done well and every time the technicians have been at the scheduled time. The work is warrantied but I've never needed to use that. The maintenance plan for plumbing and/or heating is reasonably priced and a good value.

Annual maintenance on our propane boiler went smoothly. The technician always goes over what was done. Good Service.

Halco was good to us. We needed to have our geothermal heat pump replaced this year. It was originally installed by a company that went out of business, and so we had to choose a new contractor. Halco helped us out quickly and got us in on the options. We did have to wait for a unit to arrive, but they were realistic with us on how long it would take (3 weeks!). The timeline of the order and installation we were given was spot on, and we got heat in the nick of time. The installers were prompt, efficient, professional, and quiet! There was minor damage to one of our stairs when they brought the new unit to the basement, but I was informed right away and Halco is sending folks to repair it. The Aston unit itself is working nicely so far (only 4 days in). There is a warranty as well as a service contract, so if anything goes wrong Halco will come back. Update to add: Halco sent carpenters to come and fix the damage to our stairs, and they were prompt, efficient, and friendly! Thanks Halco!
