Alberston Plumbing and Heating

Ok, I just had a horrible experience with this Company. I looked up plumbers in my zip and they came up but the first thing I should have noticed was they don't answer the phone "Albertson" it's a recorded "you have reached your plumbing" blah blah, Unlike Grammin plumbing that charges a house call fee, but puts that fee toward the bill if you have them do the work. this company just tacks it on. so I had a leaking tap valve that tapped a cold water pipe and sends water to my refrigerator to make ice and cold water. he cut out a 6" pc of pipe installed same with shark bit fittings and reconnected the tap valve. he was here 30 minutes bill was $462.71. now here's where it goes downhill, they want a check made out to the plumber, not the company. which I objected to so they threatened to remove the parts they installed. I asked for an invoice and the plumber doesn't carry any, I asked him for his ID saying he was from Albertson Plumbing he had no ID, I looked on the truck, no indication of the company. I told them I wouldn't pay anything unless they could give me an invoice. and after some heated exchanges, they agreed to email me one. that took 20 minutes because they had to design one on the fly and send it. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau on Monday as well as the State to see if this business is even registered. stay tuned, I will post more when I hear. By the way, the address is also bogus 1045 Willis Ave is the address for Parkway Deli.
