YOU CANNOT HIRE BETTER than Richie and his team. I first found them through my friend and GC, who knew the reputation of many of the local contractors, good and bad. Since first being introduced to them, they've worked on my main bathroom (total gut renovation), sewage backup, various minor issues with my sinks (leaks, hard water deposits, and replacements), my toilets (valve replacements), and today he just replaced my hot water heater. Anything I've thrown at them they've handled with ease. I wanted a custom antique vanity upstairs and they were able to customize the faucet holes easily and make them nice and tight. They are working with me to install a vintage sink with hard-to-find hardware and accessories. If you give them all the info they need in advance they will arrive with EVERY part you need on the truck, eliminating extra trips to the supply house. On one occasion, instead of charging me extra, he tipped me off that one of the parts I needed to fix a faulty tub pop-up assembly would be replaced by the manufacturer for free (and it was)! Richie even stocks water heaters and was able to address my issue almost immediately. He is also reliable and shows up when he says he will. I am 100% confident that Richie will stand behind anything he installs and that he won't screw me on pricing. When you don't know much about plumbing (or HVAC, or electrical or whatever), you have to be able to trust the people you hire to do this for you. Without question, Richie Hoffman and his team are the people I trust.

I finally found an honest and competent plumber in Rich Hoffman. He is punctual and reasonable with his rates. Happy to have all my plumbing working again.

The crew from Hoffman Plumbing helped us out today with the installation of a new hot water heater...and they were awesome! From first contact to completion of the job, we couldn't be more satisfied. They offered a great price, arrived on time, worked neatly and completed the job perfectly! Would highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough about Hoffman Plumbing. They squeezed us in for a seemingly routine call which ended up being quite a mystery problem. In trying to solve it, they were actually at my house until 8:00 pm on a Friday night until we begged them to please go home to their families! That showed a level of professionalism and dedication that is rare in service industries. They so easily could have called it quits at the end of the business day. They were back quickly and had the problem solved soon thereafter. Their rates were also very reasonable. Overall, we would use these guys again for any heating/plumbing needs that we have. Truly excellent service.

Finding a good plumber is like finding a good barber; you have to suffer through a bunch of bad haircuts (or bad plumbing jobs) before you find one you can stick with. Rich is a plumber you can trust in and one who will give you an honest assessment. Going on strong reviews on yelp and google, I called to ask for help on water meter coupling replacement. He actually first declined the work saying that it should be the water company's responsibility which I agreed with and I went back and forth with the water company. Eventually, it turned out to be the homeowner's responsibility, so I called him back and he did the work in about an hour on a couple days' notice. He responds directly to texts on his phone and comes on time. Most importantly, there was no outrageous service fee to just take a look at the issue, just like it used to be. Call these guys and don't suffer through anymore bad haircuts.
