You are dealing with a company who doesn’t like to be told their service is pricey - “quality costs money” - they will preach back to you After leaving, you will find lots of stickers , cards across your property - I still continue to find more reminders that wouldn’t peel off I called these guys because cooling wasn’t sufficient in my bottom floor - they quoted lots of money for refilling the Freon with a mandatory test and no guarantee for a fix - I cut my losses with a mandatory $95 but little did I realize I had unwanted graffiti all over my property without permission. They will leave a lot of reminders that they were here - here are 3 out of the 10 they left - one of them actually warned the next service provider not to service the equipment because it was under their care
We noticed our hot water heater leaking on the evening of July 3rd. We thought we'd never find someone to help us on a holiday. We called Good Tidings that evening. They had an actual person there to answer the phone. She said she would dispatch a technician first thing in the morning. Great communication via email, text and phone. Brian & Mike were very polite, took the time to explain our options. They were able to replace our hot water heater immediately which was a relief to us. They did a neat and clean job. We were very happy! We also appreciated that there was not a holiday surcharge. Very good customer service.
After an emergency with our water heater left our basement flooded we contacted this company for help. They got to us in less than 90 minutes and immediately recognized the water heater was done. Working by himself Stephen was able to remove the existing water heater, bring it upstairs and store it on the side of our house in the event the insurance adjuster needed to examine it. He then presented us with options for a replacement detailing many different payment structures. Knowing nothing about plumbing myself I deferred to his opinion and appreciated that he didn’t just go straight to the most expensive option, rather a middle one that also includes an air conditioning tune up at a discounted rate. Stephen then worked well into the night installing the replacement and insuring we were fully operational. A few days later a different member of their team came by to pick up the old heater. They emailed me a profile with a picture of the person who would be coming, which I very much appreciated from a security standpoint. My entire experience with this company had been phenomenal. Considering my interactions with them were coming at a catastrophic time for my home, they really did a great job working around that chaos as my basement was still flooded the entire time the work was being done. Stephen was as professional, courteous and knowledgeable as you would want from anyone working in your home. I have a few non-emergency plumbing jobs around the house and I am glad I’ve put them off because I’d rather they go to Good Tidings than anyone else.
On June 29, 2019, I had a crack in the pipe which was pooling water above a light switch in my basement. Steven, was the technician assigned to the job and he was unbelievably professional and patient. Amongst the initial issue that I called for, I had a few other small plumbing concerns and Steven was more than willing to take a walk through of my home and explained what my options were in addressing the problem. What I enjoyed most about my experience with Steven, is that I did not feel that he was trying to up-sell any service that I did not need, which immediately put me at ease. In Each area of my home that he worked, he left it as clean as he met it. That is a huge plus. Another significant benefit in choosing Good Tidings, is the ease of scheduling an appointment, which is usually in a very short turn around. My AC unit was not working on a hot summer day, so I called Good Tidings they courteously helped me schedule an appointment that day. Steve the repair technician was very polite and informative about the steps he was taking along with the costs associated. He repaired the broken part quickly and explained the potential issues that could arise in the future. I would highly recommend Good Tidings for their quick quality service and excellent employees.
