The service exceptional. They came earlier than expected which was really awesome. Fast and reliable and friendly. Thank you so much. Definitely call you again
We've know Mike for many years & have come to depend on him & his employee Tim for honest, fast responses. From simply sharing his knowledge, to clean rapid work of installing baseboard heating, to replacing the boiler & hot water heater, to tracking our most recent problem with discovering the problem, why our home was not reacting to the call for heat to go above low-to mid 60's during this cold snap. Fair pricing, pleasant respectable service & successfull recomendations for services his company does not handle.Thank you, Mike & Tim!!!!!
Had no heat at the house. They came right away and fixed the issue. Very professional and great people. Highly recommend them.
Mike Lauer is wonderful. He has helped me more than once out of a tight situation. He recently came out, after hours, when I had water pouring through my kitchen ceiling and called him in a panic. He rectified the problem right away. He is always willing to help and is very professional. I highly recommend him if you need any plumbing work done.
Mike Lauer is unprofessional and unskilled as a plumber. Sadly, he is also a liar. In May 2017, we woke up to water leaking from our living room ceiling. I found Mike Lauer from Angie’s list and went with him because according to the two reviews on Angie’s List, he was a reputable plumber, and he was close by. He came the next day and ran the water in the tub in the bathroom right above the living room and drained it. He concluded that it was a tile issue and that we needed to replace the tile work by the tub. We asked if he was certain and he said he was a third generation plumber, but also that he does not do tile work so we will need to call someone else for that. He collected his $145 fee. He was in and out in 30 minutes. The next morning, there was tremendous amount of water coming down from the living room ceiling. We frantically called another plumber and the plumber was able to find the busted pipe. He replaced the pipe, but unfortunately, there was already extensive damage to our main frame and hardwood floors. I called Mike Lauer and told him how he made the wrong and poor assessment and now it’s going to cost us $$$ to repair. Also, if we went along with his assessment of fixing the tiles, it would’ve cost us more unnecessary $$$ as the tiles were fine. We agreed on the phone that he would refund the $145, but 2 weeks later and there was no refund to be seen. I called him and left many messages but he never returned my calls. When I called him mid-June (after not calling him for a week), he picked up (must’ve forgotten my number from his caller ID) and he barked at me saying he mailed the check and hung up on me. I tried calling back, but he would pick up the phone and immediately hang it up. He did this about 10 times. Then he finally stayed on the line and admitted that he lied about mailing a check and said that he did not need to give us a refund after he talked to his other plumber friends. He gave us his word, and without notice, he took it back. Save yourself money and time and don’t go with this guy. Don’t trust all reviews as well. I should’ve realized this earlier when he only had TWO reviews.
