Region Energy

I have been a customer since the late 1980’s of Region Oil and it’s predecessor in this area, Menan Oil. I’ve received reasonably good service through the years – especially their emergency service. Their servicemen are generally good. There are a few minor gripes. One that has become increasingly bothersome lately is waiting on hold for five minutes or more when calling customer service. That’s not terrible, but I’ve had to call three times in the last few days (gave up on the first one) and those minutes add up. (I've had to make several calls today (6/19/19) and answers were always prompt, within a minute, so perhaps they've made improvements to their phone system. So, I'll add a star to the rating.) The main problem now is price. My last delivery charge was over $1.20 more than the local no frills deliverer, which adds up to a large chunk when buying 200 gallons. After calling them and going through the 5+ minute wait, they did give me a discount, which helps some. I don’t mind paying a little more than what I would pay for no frills delivery, but $1.20 a gallon seems too much. Also, I don’t want to have to call and wait on hold for a discount for every delivery. Not sure what I’ll do.

The Region Energy AC tech arrived on-time and checked out our system, he was able to figure out what our issue was very quickly. The tech was very experienced and checked our system so there would be no issues in the future. There are some very hot days ahead and we feel much better knowing we are in good shape.

Very happy with Region Oil and their service dept. Their customer service personnel are friendly and willing to help.

The technician was very polite and took the time to explain what was going on with our boiler. After the repairs he came back to reassure me the repairs solved the problem of which they did. In this day when people are in such a hurry and lack interpersonal skills...they could truly learn from my tech how to please a customer !!

Have had Region in my family for over 35 years. Always prompt, polite, explains everything in detail. Just moved to a new home. The two names that I can talk about now is Paul and Mike. They where great. Thanks Guys. I like to Thank everyone else to, also all the Ladies in the office.
