Home Services at The Home Depot

I came into the store today with my 3 year old toddler. I had rough measurements and a layout I was looking to create for my project. Adam in the Lumber department was exceptional. He not only was extremely patient listening and looking at my idea but he executed cutting the measurements perfectly. He took the time to do the math of the measurements I needed to make my idea come to fruition. He took the time to help me figure out the most cost effective way to purchase the product. Instead of leaving feeling stressed and unproductive, I left feeling inspired and ready to work on my project. I didn't expect anyone to help me the way he did and I really appreciated it.

I would highly recommend people not have any installs done through Home Depot " At Home Services". I purchased an exterior front door and had it installed through them causing flooding damage, and various mishaps causing the install to drag out one and a half years with virtually no help from Home Depot and only offering very minimal compensation. The experience I have had with there customer service department is horrendous. Beware Home Depot does not stand by there workmanship. I went with Home Depot for the security that the job would be done right and found out this is the case with Home Depot. BUYER BEWARE!!!! This is store #3481 in Nashua, NH. I never even got a call back from the store manager, John Markgren. They are not helping me in anyway.

bought and paid over $2k for counter top.and was told can have it installed on satuday..well the company that installs it does not work on Saturdays and only before noon on wenesdays and Thursdays....wt
