Overall good work with team members showing up when they said they were going to, and took care of business. There are two reasons I can't give 4 or 5 stars. First - after promising the estimate wouldn't change, even if they ran into something unexpected, they ran into something unexpected and tacked on 500+ more dollars to the bill. Second, despite verbally telling us that there was a 10 year warranty on the work, putting a 10 year warranty on the estimate, the final bill said 5 year warranty. We were told to just change it and initial, and they would do the same, but they never initialed next to the change. In short, the work itself was great, but the professionalism and organization was lacking.
This is absolutely worst company I have ever had to deal with. If you have any other option do not go with Roto-Rooter. We had a leak from our shower, it was a straight leak from the pipe that went down to the ceiling. It didn’t cause any damage to our flooring at all. They came in and repaired our leak, cut a hole in the ceiling downstairs to do so which is understandable and was needed. What was not needed was for them to rip up our flooring in our bathroom. There was no water damage to our flooring being that the leak went straight from the pipe below the shower through the ceiling, it was a controlled leak. But they went ahead without any proof of damage and ripped my flooring up anyways. This cost me $600 to repair. I reached out to them concerned about the price they were charging me because I didn’t want to pay the full amount being that i had to repair the floor due to their mistake. I spoke to a very unapologetic woman named jasmine that would not listen to me at all. She certainly did own up to the mistake that was made the first time we spoke because she gave me a $50 credit which is nothing on what we owe and nothing on what we paid to repair the floor they damaged. I am extremely disappointed in this company. I asked jasmine to credit out account for the money we spent replacing the flooring that they mistakenly ripped up and she told me no. I asked to speak with someone else and she told me I could not speak with anyone else. This is absolutely absurd and I can not believe such a large company would be so inconsiderate to their customers. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed in this company for how they have treated us. Now she’s saying she’s sending us to collections and putting a lien on my home because she is unwavering and will not help us. This is a cruel company. Do not work with them.
I called about a toilet leak at 2:30. The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful. She told me someone would be here in about an hour. At 3:00 there was a knock on my door. The gentleman who came to repair it was very professional and polite. He kept me informed as to what he was doing. I was very impressed.
Austin S. arrived sooner than I expected. He was professional and explained what the problem was and how he was going to do the repair. He was organized and cleaned up the area he was working on. Top notch!
I was very pleased, customer service was courteous and the technician Jean Claude was very prompt, even a bit early. He was dedicated to fixing the problem and helped educate me on the process as well. He was delightful to work with and gracious given the heat of the day. Highly recommend them.
