I paid $180 for 10 min work. My shower valve was leaking. We took the wall down and everything was exposed and ready for them to repair. They came out, looked at it and said you need a valve... this took 2 min. They had to go back to the shop to get the valve.....why there was not a valve on the plumber work truck is beyond me as I had told them where it was leaking when the shower was turned on when I called. I was charged $140 for labor and $30 for the part. When I questioned the bill amt I was told that the labor charge starts when they leave the shop. I was charged for the trip to my house, back to the shop to get the valve and then for 10 min work. I am so hurt and disappointed. I talked to many people who said I was definitely taken advantage of. As a Woman I have come to expect that in this area. Polite people but not fair with labor charges! You may want to see how far you are from their shop before having them come out ....I am only 13 miles from their shop!! Update: so before We repaired the wall we turned the shower on to make sure the leak was fixed. Guess what! It wasn’t!! I had to take the connection apart and put thread tape on. Now its fixed!! Amazed that a reputable plumbing co didn’t even use thread tape to assure no leaks!! SMH!

I had plumbers to come to check for water leak, they checked all around the house and under the house. They did not find any leaks charged me 113.00 and left. Had another plumber from different business to come he found two leaks and fixed them. I have had good service from Buckner in the past but I am very displeased with this service. The water leaks were right where they supposedly checked.

Fast and friendly. Can't ask for a better company in McDowell County. I always recommend them on my jobs.
