I contacted them to fix a low water pressure problem in my house, the way they fixed it was by removing the water pressure reducing valve (PRV) on the water line from the street water meter. They also removed the water heater expansion tank. The PRV and the expansion tank were located under my house in the crawl space. They did not replace either of these items, but they bypassed them with straight pipe. (My house is currently without either of these devices, and I am concerned that having unrestricted pressure feeding my house can lead to further water-related damages.) I then went to work leaving the house empty. When we came home from work about 5 hours later one of the pieces of straight pipe came apart at a pex coupling that they installed. We now have a huge water remediation problem and cost to deal with. We called them to come and fix the water line and they charged us extra for coming and fixing that. They said that the coupling coming apart was not caused by them, and that this must be an additional charge. Now we have a way bigger problem with wet and displaced insulation, wet sub-flooring, large standing water puddles, and spot water erosion under the vapor barrier. The water remediation could cost between $2,000 to $4,000, or more, if not corrected (possible of mold to start; possible shifting of foundation support pillars, etc). I called to speak to a manager, and was told to come in to the office to fill out an application. I was told that a manager would call me back, but nobody called me. In the midst of a horrible experience. I am going to their office tomorrow.

Called for a quote to install a gas hot water heater I bought at Lowes. This way I could my brand/warranty/style of heater and get a professional installation. They were priced competitively and able to do a same day install around my schedule. Brandy in the office was very helpful in pricing, payment, and squeezing me in while the plumber was prompt and courteous. I will use Coffman for any future plumbing need.
