The person who answered the phone and took my call was exceptionally rude. I run a dog-grooming and washing business so it's understandable that when the place gets hot, it's dangerous as the dogs can easily overheat. On an day that it was 66 degrees outside, my AC was failing and it was 80 degrees inside when I called them. John said they couldn't get anyone out until Monday. When I explained that Fields had just been out on last Friday and the issue obviously wasn't resolved he said, "Ma'am I can't give you what I don't have. There's no one to come out there until Monday." I explained the issue with the dogs and he said all he could do was call Shane. When I asked if I needed to call Shane, he said no. I told him that if we didn't get anything going today that I would call another business as this was an emergency. His responses were very short and curt and when I asked if I could leave a different number for them to call me back on, he hung up on me. He called back and told me that he had to "pull someone off another job to help me," and with no graces hung up again. I'd appreciate much better customer service and empathy from someone who talks to customers. This was in fact an emergency as a fuse had blown and the AC wasn't functioning at all. Thankfully Mickey is much better at conveying information as the tech than the person who answers their phone.

First, their service manager called me accidentally thinking I was a different one of his customers. When I let him know, somehow it was MY fault. "I didn't leave my name or number when I left a message"....which I did. My name, number and address are on file as we have a service agreement with them. But here's the one star rating part...I had a leak in my coil, the service manager said it was not under warranty and quoted my over 2,800.00 to replace it. I got a second opinion, found out it WAS in fact under warranty and got the work done for less than a third of his quote. We no longer require their services. Most of us don't make 90.00 per hour but are expected to pay that per labor hour. I'm wondering now how many hard working civilian and current and former military customers he's ripped off. Fields Plumbing and Heating will never work on my system again, and will never be recommended as trustworthy. In this case their service manager represented the entire company, and that one service manager lost several customers for them.

We had a plumbing emergency come up right before the closing of the sale of our home and they came out quickly and took care of it for a very fair price. I would definitely recommend their services.

Very good service. Have used Fields for about 20 years.Tony Chavis came yesterday to work on 2 toilets that were running. He was very nice and professional. Explained what he was doing and why. I highly recommend Fields to anyone considering them.
