David & Son Plumbing

I am very glad to be writing a review for David and Son Plumbing. They have come to my house a few times for different plumbing issues They did excellent work in a timely manner and took care of the issues at hand completely and effectively. They worked very quickly to get the job completed and get my plumbing working correctly as soon as possible I appreciate the professionalism, the explanation of what was wrong and what needed to be done to make the repairs and even came after the latest repair with a problem that was actually the town's issue and fixed that for me for free. They were very fairly priced and extremely pleasant to work with and highly recommend them!

Crooked!!! Knowing my husband travels and is rarely home, my pump supposedly fried. I had a new one put in. My total for that job was 1800.00. I was new to the area and did not check around. Then it wasn’t but a month or two and no water again. Said my bladder was no good. Another 1000.00 for that job. Then a pvc line broke under the house. Rather than crawling on down under the house, he broke the brick to get to the pvc pipe. Another 500.00. Friday no water. Now mind you, all this occurred in the last 10 months. So I tried calling him. I left two messages! No return call until today on a Sunday. I had spoke to someone who knew a plumber and they came by. They were not certain if it was the pump burned out, so I called David and he informed me that the warranty on my 1800.00 dollar job he did would not include his labor price again. The new plumber told me he would pull the pump up. He did. Discovered a wire that was worn and informed me the wires were left loose on the pipe! I cannot even IMAGINE what kind of price that would have been but I got it all done for 200.00! Parts and labor! The man was out here for 4 hours! I’m writing this review because this company robbed me blind! I do not recommend David and Sons!!!! And David, if you read this review....I NOW KNOW that you took advantage of me!!!!!! I was told the actual price of those parts. I understand charging labor but your labor price is ludicrous!!!! I really believed in you! I will NO LONGER be using your services!!!!

Mr. David arrived for his 9am appointment at just after 8:30. He completed the work efficiently, properly and quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for service or to recommend him, but with a heads up to be prepared to pay more for that knowledge and reliability. He is very expensive. Our service took under an hour and a half. He supplied a replacement outdoor faucet and those were his only parts as we already had the disposal that he installed. The bill was $300.00.

I called Mr David and he walked me through throuble shooting and restarting our water heater. He could have taken advantage of my lack of water heater knowledge, but he never suggested any expensive repairs or replacements. Mr David did some work for us several years ago. He was timely and I thought his service fees were reasonable. We will definitely use his services in the future!

I was very satisfied with David & Son Plumbing. He came when he said he would and found the reason why I had no incoming water from my well. That is fixed for now. Waiting for a different well cover to replace the synthetic one.
