This is the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor!! I had a roof installed and the roofers accidentally ran a nail into an electrical wire causing a short to my porch lights and to several of my outlets in the house. Daniel came out from Anchor Electrical & Plumbing LLC and charged me $250 for the diagnosis. (Which was due that day). He then gave me an estimate for $750 for the remainder of the work. What was supposed to be a one day job turned into a two day job. On the second day when he was done he gave me a bill for $1,000 and told me that he was unable to fix the porch lights without removing part of the roof. I felt sorry for him since he had to work much longer than he had planned so I paid the extra $250 even though the job was not completed. Looking back I feel foolish for this because I actually paid him 25% more than his estimate and he did't fix the porch lights as requested. If anything the bill should have been lower!! It only gets worse from here! After he left several of the outlets still did not work. I called him and he said he would be back the next day. He failed to show up as scheduled, and never bothered to call me and let me know he would not be able to make it. When he finally did show up he worked on it and told me it was fixed. After he left I checked it and I still had two dead outlets. So we repeated the above scenario, I made an appointment for him to come out and fix it , and he didn't show up again! Finally he showed up a third time and all of my outlets were fixed, but of course the porch lights are still not working At this point I was finished with him and wanted nothing to do with Daniel or Anchor Electric. Unfortunately I called other electricians and after telling them what had happened they said they did not want to come in behind him and try to figure out what he had done. On April 25th I asked Daniel for an estimate to fix my porch lights by running the electrical wire under the porch ceiling. On April 29th I asked again and got a response that he was working on it. On May 13th I told him if he didn't want the job to just tell me. As of today (May 24th) still no answer! His work lacks the attention to detail you would expect from someone who charges $100 an hour, I am attaching photos to show what I mean. He took a porch light off and lost a screw, so now it is hanging down with just one screw holding it up. The outlets have mismatched screws and missing screws, and the bathroom GFI outlet was put in upside down and we can no longer use our "candle melter" in it because the wax would simply fall out! All in all it was a horrible experience and I would warn anyone against using this business!!!

I would not let this guy wire my doghouse, which has no electric! I've spent a week fixing a brand new house's electric. Guy did not have a clue, almost every receptacle was operated by a switch, open splices in the attic and walls, most unprofessional work I've ever seen! Would hate to see his plumbing!

"As a totally satisfied Customer I can offer a full and authoritative recommendation of every possible service Anchor can provide - and then some...! At any time of the day I am available for a phone recommendation for any project. Daniel and his team, including Sarah his Wife, have never said no to any request we had made during four significant projects. It all started with my need to have a new garage wired fully, by local code. NO PROBLEM. During that work I discovered they do plumbing so they fixed our water heater as well as installed a sink I had laying around in my new garage. NO PROBLEM. After that the new garage needed painting and asking them for recommendations on that we discovered they could handle that! My Wife decided to do the entire house exterior, trim, everything! NO PROBLEM. Downstairs bathroom floor re-do? NO PROBLEM. Entire interior living room / dining room / hallways / stair well, etc., painted? NO PROBLEM. Fix leaking gutters? NO PROBLEM. How many services these days will tell you, "sorry but that is not my specialty" so you have to keep searching. Not Daniel. Three most important reasons to use these folks; 1.) Trust. Give them your house keys and don't waste one second worrying about that. 2.) Workmanship. Their attention to detail is beyond measure. They usually take longer than the original estimated time-frame but let them have the extra time because it is worth it. 3.) Value. Nobody squeezes a dime tighter than me but in the end their competitive pricing is well worth it for the work they do. Very fine people easy to talk to, easy to trust, EASY for me to recommend highly. Thank you. Ron E."

Anchor Electric and Plumbing is reliable, professional and qualified. Their staff is friendly and careful. They have updated the electrical system to code by installing a new circuit panel, as well as upgraded the outlets on the main level of the house and installed new outlets; painted and repaired the house and built a retaining wall at the edge of the patio. Their work is professional.

Daniel and his team have done an outstanding job for me. They have changed out all of my light fixtures, faucets, installed a new dishwasher & many other handyman jobs. Very professional and I would highly recommend in the Branson and the Tri-lake area.
