Dan Simmer

Thank you dan simmer for an amazing job on the plumbing done to my house. Explained everything he was going to do and did an awesome job. Very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends. Thank you for being awesome ;)

My neighbor who'd had a problem with frozen, burst pipes, recommended Simmer Plumbing Services to me. He said Dan Simmer was a real "problem solver". Well, my problems weren't huge, but I gave him a call. I had a constantly dripping shower head, a very slow draining sink, and I wanted to replace two old toilets with the taller, "comfort height" kind. Dan made quick work of the leak and the drain problem, and then he explained the various toilet options. He showed me pictures of several makes and models and helped me get the best quality for the money I was willing to spend. As he installed the guest bathroom toilet, I asked if he could use the elegant brass flush handle from the old toilet, since it matched my other fixtures and looked really nice. Unfortunately, it was from a different brand of toilet, and did not fit. It was literally trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Seeing my disappointment, Dan said, "Let me try something." Using a heavy duty steel file, a lot of elbow grease and a special sealant, he was able to install the old flush handle on the new toilet. It works perfectly! I also give him points for neatness of work and of clean up. Dan definitely is a problem solver, and he also seems to really enjoy his work.

Dan was great. He changed out my water heater. He explained what all he was going to do and was good about clainign up after changing it out. He went through starting up the pilot light and everything with me. Totally trustworthy nice guy.
