Home Depot sent Rick to me in Lake Crystal to install a water heater. I won't go into my big box experience, but Rick and his apprentice were polite, professional, efficient and accommodating. I appreciated his no-nonsense Chicago attitude. They got in, got the job done, cleaned up after themselves and let me get back to my day. But before they went, Rick took the time to ask if I wanted to see the features and lighting instructions. He even made recommendations for ways to ensure the longevity of my water heater while saving money in the future. Solid experience.

Do not use Rick / Perfection Plumbing! Our general contractor used him when finishing our basement . I came home from work literally on DAY ONE of the job to at least an inch of standing water covering our basement...needless to say I was freaked out. Luckily, it was day one of the project so there was no drywall or flooring to be damaged. Aside from the stressful experience, Rick handled it pretty poorly too - it seemed like he just raced over to our house to mop everything up before our general contractor arrived to see the severity, he took no accountability and said it was because of a "faulty part". He said he would replace our water main handle (was rusted out) for free because of the inconvenience...well it's now almost three months later and this still hasn't happened / haven't heard from him. What if I had gone out to dinner after work or was out of town? Our entire house would've been flooded. Another negative - he will only warranty items that he supplies (shower / toilet / faucets etc)..fine. However, when we asked him to send options for what he will supply it took over a week to get one "option" and even then he just sent part numbers for us to google and see the images. When i then googled the part numbers to see what we were getting, I could also see the retail prices of these items and could see he was charging us a 200% markup.
